ACE represents the business interests of the consultancy and engineering industry in the UK. They are the leading business association in this field, counting around 800 firms – large and small, operating across many different disciplines – as their members.

Association for project safety
The Association for Project Safety (APS) is a multi-disciplinary membership body for those who operate in, or have an interest in, Health and Safety Risk Management in the Construction Industry.
The objectives of The Association for Project Safety Limited (APS) are to advance and develop the standards of practice in Construction Health and Safety Risk Management.
Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme
CHAS
CHAS is dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard. CHAS is a founder member and current Chair of Safety Schemes in Procurement – Competence Forum or SSIP.
CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers (those who provide goods and services) and to organisations (buyers) looking for suitably competent suppliers.
Constructionline

Constructionline is the UK's register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction-related suppliers.
The concept of a single national database was proposed by the 1994 Latham Report. Since then Constructionline has grown and been updated in line with the needs of modern procurement. The OGC Common Minimum Standards and The Local Government Task Force also recommend using Constructionline as part of the pre-qualification and tendering process.
Home Builders Federation
HBF is the principal trade association representing the interests of private home builders and housing associations in England and Wales. HBF members are responsible for around 80% of new homes built every year.
HBF works on members behalf to promote common interests, to represent those interests in discussions with Government and regulatory bodies and during formal consultation processes, and to facilitate networking and the exchange of information and ideas.
Investors in People
Developed in 1990 by a partnership of leading businesses and national organisations, the Standard helps organisations to improve performance and realise objectives through the management and development of their people. Since it was developed, the Standard has been reviewed every three years to ensure that it remains relevant, accessible and attractive to all. The most recent review was completed in November 2004.
Millard Consulting has held accreditation in IIP since 2002, and our culture is defined as Investors in People and is at the forefront of the planned expansion of the Practice in the years ahead.
Regular meetings are held to offer the opportunity for all to discuss matters that are of interest to them.
SAP assessments
The standard assessment procedure (SAP) is the UK Governments's tool for assessing energy performance of dwellings. Millard Consulting are authorised SAP Assessors through NHER and can assess the energy performance of your building.
Energy costs, environmental impact of CO2 emissions and compliance with Building Regulations is calculated for the proposed dwelling and confirmed at the design and post-construction phases.
Millard Consulting is therefore accredited to provide evidence to the BRE and other building control bodies in the form of building regulations analysis and proof of compliance with local, regional and national objectives.
