Introduction

This development is located on St. Nicholas Street in the heart of the Canal Basil area of Coventry, known as Drapers Field, which historially has had development since 1769.

Millard Consulting provided detailed environmental and geotechnical site investigations

Scope

To enable the drainage of surface water, soakaways were positioned under the car park. This was constructed in permeable paving, allowing vertical drainage into the subgrade.

The contemporary style and monopitch form of the roof slopes, utilised a built up standing seam sheeting roof covering, concealed gutters and relatively large overhangs.
