Introduction
Felsted Sugar Beet Factory ceased production in 1983 and six years later Millard Consulting was instructed to provide technical input into the preparation of a development masterplan. The site was allocated by the local authority to provide essential housing for the growing workforce associated with Stansted Airport.
Scope
Having assisted with the demolition of the existing sugar beet works by providing input into the specification and site supervision, Millard Consulting went on to produce detailed design of the infrastructure. We also produced all of the contract and legal plans for the sale agreements and have now successfully carried out Phase 1-4 of the development.
