Introduction

Millard Consulting has carried out coastal breach modelling at Southwold Denes and overlapping modelling of Southwold Harbour in order to quantify the flood risk at the Ferry Road area and across Havenbeach Marshes.

Scope

The work required an assessment of the current and future Environment Agency and local planning authority flood defence standards and policies associated with the Southwold coastal frontage, the northern harbour area and River Blyth estury
