Introduction
The Forest Retail Park, Thetford, is situated off London Road, Thetford, adjacent to the A11. The park offers an out-of-town shopping facility with retailers such as Currys, Sainsbury, Focus, Brantano, Carpet Right, Allied Carpets, McDonalds and Bewise. The total site area is approximately 8Ha (20 acres), with landscaped car parking and areas for future expansion.
Scope
Millard Consulting was initially involved as a result of a perceived need to provide traffic calming and speed restraints; to improve circulation of the car parks due to antisocial behaviour and speeding drivers.
